Il 29 dicembre 2021 la Reuters ha pubblicato un breve comunicato stampa che annuncia il ritrovamento, da parte di un team greco guidato da Kostas Thoctarides, del sommergibile Jantina, affondato il 5 luglio 1941 dopo esser stato colpito dai siluri lanciati dal sommergibile inglese HMS Torbay.
