LColombo Inviato 28 Febbraio, 2017 Segnala Share Inviato 28 Febbraio, 2017 Hello Erwan, nowhere on my site is it written that "no one is called Aristide Giuberti". Upon seeing this post, I have checked the volumes with the lists of the Italian Navy personnel killed or missing in World War II, and the result is: Sub-Lieutenant Aristide Giuberti, born in Parma on 11.5.1917, died in France on 6.2.1941. Unit "non specificato (006)", that is, "unspecified": this should mean that he was not assigned to one of the Betasom submarines. A guess could be that he was assigned to the Betasom base, but then again, the unit should be "Bordeaux" (as specified for others) and not "unspecified". GM Andrea* Inviato 28 Aprile, 2017 Segnala Share Inviato 28 Aprile, 2017 Hi, I didn't find that name in any list of deceased soldiers or sailors in WWII Citare Link al commento Condividi su altri siti
malaparte* Inviato 28 Aprile, 2017 Segnala Share Inviato 28 Aprile, 2017 Andrea, that surname sounds like a North Eastern one. Of course you have looked also for Bachich, Bachic or similar, isn't it?
LColombo Inviato 29 Aprile, 2017 Segnala Share Inviato 29 Aprile, 2017 I found a Bacich Francesco, but he was a merchant seaman who died in the sinking of the steamer Bolsena, in the Mediterranean. Therefore it cannot be him.
