brunetto90 Posted January 23, 2014 Report Share Posted January 23, 2014 Salve a tutti, ho notato questo fotogramma durante il film Koyaanisqatsi, che immortala durante l'operation "Sea Orbit" (1964) USS Bainbridge (DLGN-25), USS Long Beach (CGN-9) e USS Enterprise (CVAN-65): notate anche voi in queste ultime due unità dei pannelli inseriti sulla vela? chimera Posted January 23, 2014 Report Share Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) Se per vela intendi la sovrastruttura cubica che ospita la plancia, i "pannelli" potrebbero essere le antenne a facce piane dell'innovativo (per i tempi) sistema SCANFAR composto dai radar phased array SPS 32 e SPS 33, un po' il precursorere dell'attuale SPY-1, e ragione della forma bizzarra e sgraziata delle sovrastrutture stesse. http://www.harpoonhq.com/waypoint/articles/Article_044.pdf Ciao, C.
