Certo viene difficile immaginare un sottomarino da 600 tonnellate (parliamo di un "Toti"!) armato di siluri, missili e mine, e ppure questa è la dichiarazione del capo di stato iraniano. vi riporto l'articolo di defencetalk al link https://www.defencetalk.com/iran-unveils-cruise-missile-equipped-submarine-72115/

Comunque quei missili da crociera con gittata di 2000 km sono davvero preoccupanti...

According to Iranian state media, President Hassan Rohani has inaugurated a new domestically built submarine armed with cruise missiles, amid heightened tensions with the United States.

They said that the 600-ton submarine is equipped with torpedoes, naval mines, and subsurface-to-surface cruise missiles with a range of about 2,000 kilometers — enough to reach Israel and U.S. military bases in the region.

U.S. President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the 2015 nuclear agreement between Tehran and world powers in May last year and imposed biting sanctions on Iran’s economy.

He said the accord was flawed because it did not address Iran’s ballistic-missile program or its support for proxies across the Middle East.

The European signatories of the deal remained committed to the pact, which restricted Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief, but have stepped up criticism of Iran’s missiles program and its meddling in countries in the Middle East.

Tehran has developed a domestic arms industry in the face of international pressure and embargoes that have barred Iran from importing many weapons.

Addressing the ceremony in Bandar Abbas attended by top military officials and cabinet ministers, Rohani said: “Our enemy’s pressure and sanctions imposed on Iran have instigated our progress.”

“Maybe we would not have this motivation to industrialize our defense sector,” Rohani also said, if Iran could just buy the weaponry it needed.

Dir,

visto il limitato dislocamento, probabilmente stiamo parlando di un battello che imbarca un paio di missili da crociera al posto dei siluri di riserva, con lancio attraverso i tubi lanciasiluri come per i primi Tomahawk.

Piu di così direi che non è possibile, visto il dislocamento.

Poi, che i missili funzionino davvero, non è una cosa scontata...

 

p.s. Non voglio minimizzare la possibile minaccia, ma l'Iran ci ha abituato a qualche "sparata", come il caccia stealth di qualche anno fa...

Io sono sempre una frana nello stimare le dimensioni di un oggetto da video o fotografie ma dalle foto e dai video che girano su internet relativi alla classe Fateh mi sembra sia un po' più grosso di 600 tonnellate, direi più vicino ad un Sauro / 212 (ma forse più piccolo di quest'ultimo).

 

Qui uno dei tanti video relativi alla classe Fateh e alle altre classi iraniane

 

Dalle foto e dal video non mi sembra esserci la presenza di tubi di lancio verticali quindi l'opinione di Ocean's sulle modalità di lancio dei missili stile Tomahawk ovvero dai tubi lancia siluri sia la più probabile.

Sembra che il battello abbia effettuato il suo primo test di lancio missile. lo comunica Defencetalk al link https://www.defencetalk.com/iran-test-fires-cruise-missile-from-submarine-in-military-drill-72127. Il lancio sarebbe avvenuto il 24 febbraio scorso. Nell'articolo si specifica che anche gli altri battelli avrebbero le stesse capacità.....

L'articolo riporta che a lanciare il missile è stato un classe Ghadir, ma se non sbaglio i Ghadir sono battelli di tipo midjet da 120t.

Mi domando, ma se era difficile pensare che un battello da 600t come il nuovo Fateh potesse lanciare quel tipo di missili, come farebbe un 120t a farlo?

Ovviamente immagino non si abbiano dettagli sul tipo di missile.
