In particolare mio nonno Manlio Tarantini, comandante del sommergibile F13 nella prima guerra mondiale. Nel poco tempo libero da impegni familiari e lavorativi, spesso all’estero, cerco di ricostruire le sue vicende riordinando ed analizzando documenti e foto miracolosamente conservati che pubblicherò gradualmente. Apprezzo commenti ed informazioni per aiutarmi nella ricostruzione storica. Nel Forum c’è già un post sull’U-Boat U114 consegnato all’Italia dopo la prima guerra mondiale. Qualche nota sulla campagna oceanica della Regia Nave Calabria è disponibile alla URL https://www.regianavecalabria.it/12031-Guardiamarina Manlio Tarantini.html Dopo l’8 Settembre 1943 fu internato (IMI) insieme ad altri generali ed ammiragli nel Lager 64/Z di Schokken in Polonia, poi in Russia. Rientrò in Italia ad ottobre 1945. Mio padre Alberto ha partecipato a tre spedizioni italiane in Antartide negli anni ’80 e anche questa è una storia interessante.
