come mio personale interesse verso il regio sommergibile "Bagnolini" ho trovato questa foto che raffigura la nave Northern Pride GY 169 che, durante il secondo conflitto mondiale incrociò il regio sommergibile "Bagnolini".

Northern Pride GY 169

The Northern Pride was built in Germany by Deschimag Seebeck Bremerhaven (Yard No 545) for Mac Line Ltd of Fleetwood LO 104, Being one of 15 ships for the reparation program. Completed in June 1936.

In 1937 she was transferred to Grimsby to operate with the Northern Fleet

Requisitioned for the Royal Navy on 08/1939 and was operating as an A/S Trawler.

She was based at Milford Haven before joining the Northern Patrol based up at Kirkwall the 11th A/S Strike Force. In 1941 she took part in the Norwegian campaign.

During a patrol in the Atlantic off the West Coast of Ireland she was attacked by the Italian Submarine Bagnolini firing multiple Torpedoes, Luckily all missed.

In the same year she was moved to the Russian Convoys, escorting merchant ships to Murmansk.

Il Pride del Nord fu costruito in Germania da Deschimag Seebeck Bremerhaven (cantiere n. 545) per Mac Line Ltd di Fleetwood LO 104, essendo una delle 15 navi per il programma di riparazione. Completato nel giugno 1936.

Nel 1937 fu trasferita a Grimsby per operare con la flotta del Nord

Richiesto per la Royal Navy l'08 / 1939 e operava come A / S Trawler.
