Il clima di caos che si è venuto a creare costituisce una situazione perfetta per la flotta russa di poter attaccare quella statunitense. La US Navy dovrà cercare di portare in salvo le sue principali unità, tra queste la Bergamini presente per delle esercitazioni nei giorni precedenti ed una Big Cruise Ship con tutto il personale della base facendo sì che raggiungano le "safe zone" prima che avvenga l'esplosione del vulcano.
