Anteo Report post Posted February 16, 2013 Buongiorno a tutti, ho visto un vecchio disegno di questa unità. E' classificata come "motocisterna" ma ha anche una attezzatura per posare le mine. Leopard1 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 Salve Anteo Spero di darti un primo aiuto Garigliano - classe "Sesia" - Dislocamento: 1.055 tonnellate - Velocità: 9,5 nodi - Equipaggio: ? - Armamento: 2 pezzi da 20/70, 3 da 8, 118 mine - Nota: Cisterna per acqua, adibita anche al trasporto truppe (ed allo scopo dotata di un ponte da sbarco mobile situato a prua), fu dotata di attrezzatura per la posa di mine; scafo costruito con l'elettrosaldatura; capacità di trasporto di 1.062 uomini e 50 muli - Storia: Varata l’8.5.1934 presso i Cantieri Navali del Tirreno Riva Trigoso, in dservizio novembre 1935, catturata dai tedeschi a Bonifacio (Corsica) il 14.9.1943, ribattezzata Oldenburg e impiegata come posamine. affondata nel porto di Genova il 24.4.1945, recuperata e demolita nel novembre 1946. Leopard1 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 Anteo, altre piccole info Questa volta riguardano Il Garigliano ribattezzato Oldenburg....anche se per qualche breve periodo fu ribattezzato prima F 844 e poi Dwarsläufer.... L'armamento AA fu un po' incrementato (I-37mm e II -14mm anzichè II-20mm) Sembrerebbe che nel l'immediato dopoguerra sia stato recuperato e addirittura riutilizzato dalla nostra Marina.... Come avrai visto sul sito della MMI non se ne parla neppure.... 22 Febraury 1934 The Garigliano is commissioned. as an Italian water tanker with minelaying equipment. 13 September 1943 The Garigliano is damaged at Maddalena. 13 September 1943 The Garigliano is taken over by Germany as F 844.25 November 1943 The Garigliano is renamed Dwarsläufer and commissioned. February 1944 The minelayer Dwarsläufer is renamed Oldenburg. 12 May 1944 The minelayer Oldenburg is attacked by aircraft and sustains a direct hit resulting in an engine room fire.
