Costruita nel 1912 in un paese scandinavo......e nel 1981 dismessa, ma invece di affondarla in alto mare è stata spiaggiata ed è diventata un'attrattiva locale.....trattasi di isola...anche perchè è la più vecchia nave in ferro. Si tratta infatti della m/n Dresden (1937), allora una moderna unità impiegata per lo sbarco di prigionieri e rifornitrice dello Hilfskreuzer Atlantis. Adibita successivamente al servizio speciale navale nell'Asia orientale e violatrice di blocco: rientrò infatti indisturbata dal Giappone a Bordeaux dove il 6 .11.1942 incappò in una mina. Il Dresden, non più ripristinato né rimesso in esercizio, venne affondato come ostruzione nell'estuario della Gironda Il 25 agosto 1944.
