Ci sono discrepanze tra le fonti riguardo al fatto se nasca come progetto francese poi proseguito dagli occupanti o come assemblaggio tedesco. Aspetto il nome per cedere la barra. Ma a questo punto scommetto invece che è piccolissima… _________ Venendo ora al quiz di Nostromo, devo dire che l’aiuto iniziale su grado e cognome è stato effettivamente molto utile, forse fin troppo… Comunque è bene che io dia una risposta completa, per regolarità: si tratta del semovente contraereo M247 Sergeant York (DIVAD), su scafo M60 e con una torretta dotata di due cannoni automatici da 40 mm. L’infausto soprannome che ho scritto è effettivamente legato alle sue deludenti prestazioni, che ne decretarono l’insuccesso. Infatti, durante un’esercitazione a fuoco del prototipo, il suo radar aggancio la ventola di aerazione di una latrina credendo che fosse il bersaglio ad ala rotante, sparando poi una raffica che demolì il gabinetto. Non mi risulta che ci furono feriti, ma l’assurdo episodio portò alla cancellazione del programma, che comunque stava già navigando in cattive acque. _________ Ora tocca me.
