danilo43* Report post Posted May 1 La livrea, scafo nero e fumaiolo rosso con banda superiore nera, pare essere quella della Cunard Line, ma nessuna delle loro navi di costruzione risalente all' inizio del secolo scorso prestò inizialmente servizio sotto bandiera extraeuropea... La celebrazione letteraria potrebbe ricordare qualche evento bellico. Il piroscafo fu adibito a traporto truppe o nave ospedale ? Soprvvisse alle due GM ? Venne utilizzata per celebrare la vittoria. Sopravvisse alle due guerre. Dopo il servizio con la prima bandiera ne ebbe una temporanea nel 1947, poi tra 47 e 48 venne sottoposta a lavori e assunse servizio sotto la nuova bandiera europea.
