Terzo lancio riuscito del missile "Bulava" dallo YURI DOLGORUKHY:

RUSSIA: LANCIATO CON SUCCESSO MISSILE BULAVA PER TESTATE NUCLEARI =

(AGI/REUTERS) - Mosca, 28 ott.

I ripetuti flop avevano sollevato

E' in

State Contract for Borey-Class Submarines Faces Delays

A contract to build Borey class submarines, the most costly of the 2012 state defense orders, faces delays over pricing, the Kommersant daily said on Saturday citing shipbuilding and defense sources.

“The defense ministry is again dissatisfied with the price substantiation, so the signing of the contract is ruled out in the near future,” a source in the shipbuilding industry told Kommersant.

According to the paper, Russia's United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) said one submarine will cost about 26 billion rubles ($878 million), or about 130 billion rubles ($4.4 billion) in total.

A defense ministry source said “the manufacturers still want to sell it at an unjustifiably high price,” while shipbuilders say such prices would barely allow them to make any profit.

In line with the revised state armament procurement program, the Russian Navy is to receive at least 10 new Borey class strategic nuclear submarines until 2020.

Dmitry Rogozin, the deputy prime minister in charge of the defense industry, said earlier this week he was uncertain that the agreement will be reached on all state defense orders for 2012 before the April 15 deadline.

He said that price is still being negotiated on some objects on the list that require a production period of five-seven years, for example those intended for the Air Force and the Navy.

New Russian Ballistic Missile Submarine to Complete Sea Trials

Russia’s latest ballistic missile submarine, the Borey class Yury Dolgoruky will complete an initial sea trial on June 7, its maker Sevmash shipyard said on Tuesday.

“The Yury Dolgoruky will complete an initial sea trial on June 7. If all testing goes successfully, the boat will be accepted into service in the near future,” a Sevmash source told RIA Novosti, adding that no tests of the boat’s future primary armament, the Bulava ICBM, are planned during the sea trial.

The Bulava will be test-fired again this year, but from another boat of this class, the Alexander Nevsky, and if the test is successful, the two systems will be accepted into the service this year.

Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and former navy commander Admiral Vladimir Vysotsky have previously said that the Borey class boats and Bulava, would enter service this fall.

The 24,000 ton displacement Borey class boats will carry 16 Bulava missiles. The new boats will be the mainstay of Russia’s naval nuclear deterrent fleet after 2018, replacing the existing Project 941 and Project 667 (NATO Typhoon and Delta-3 and Delta-4) class ballistic missile submarines.

Russia to Commission First Borey Class Nuclear Sub in 2013

Russia's first Borey class strategic nuclear submarine will be commissioned in 2013, Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov said on Monday.

The Yury Dolgoruky submarine was expected to join the Russian Navy by the end of this year, but tests carried out during the latest sea trials revealed a number of technical flaws. Software glitches in the automated launch control system prevented further tests of the Bulava Ballistic missile, the submarine’s main weapon.

“We are expecting the Yury Dolgoruky submarine to enter service in 2013,” Serdyukov told Russian lawmakers at a meeting on defense issues.

The second Borey class submarine, the Alexander Nevsky, could join Russia’s Pacific Fleet in 2014, the minister said.

The Borey class submarines are expected to form the core of Russia’s strategic submarine fleet, replacing the aging Project 941 (NATO Typhoon class) and Project 667 class (Delta-3 and Delta-4) boats. Russia is planning to build eight Borey and Borey-A class subs by 2020.

Two more Borey class submarines are under construction at the Sevmash shipyard in the White Sea port city of Severodvinsk.

A Borey class strategic submarine is 170 meters (580 feet) long, has a hull diameter of 13 meters (42 feet), a crew of 107, including 55 officers, a maximum depth of 450 meters (about 1,500 feet) and a submerged speed of about 29 knots.

All the Borey class strategic submarines will carry the Bulava ballistic missile, up to 16 ballistic missiles with multiple warheads.

Borey-Class Nuclear Submarines to Serve Russian Fleet Until 2050
Eight Borey-class nuclear submarines will join the Russian Navy by 2020 and will be the backbone of Russia’s marine nuclear forces. “The Borey can serve up to 30 years with planned upkeep and modernization,” Igor Vilnit told RIA Novosti in an interview.
The submarines are equipped with Bulava ballistic missiles, which can carry a nuclear warhead with an operational range of up to 10,000 kilometers (6,200 miles).
So far three of the eight submarines have already been completed, and another three are currently under construction. Two more should be ready by the end of 2015, Vilnit added. The Borey-class submarines, intended to replace the Delta- and Typhoon-class boats, are 170 meters (558 feet) long and require a crew of 107.
The first two Borey-class nuclear subs, the Yury Dolgoruky and the Alexander Nevsky, were commissioned in January and December 2013, respectively. They were followed by the Vladimir Monomakh officially inducted into the Russian Navy in December 2014.

https://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/russia-just-tested-a-whole-bunch-of-intercontinental-ba-1826400740

Tutto in tedesco, quindi incomprensibile in ogni aspetto.
